Emily in Paris

Ok, so if it wasn’t spelled out, I’m gay. I’ve become hooked on the show Emily in Paris on Netflix. So sue me. I love playing pool and darts, hanging at a bar, and drinking whiskey and beer, but a good series about love and fashion gets me every time. The gay just sneaks up on me. Anyway, I didn’t want to blog about it, because my last blog mentioned wine, but I can’t help it. Netflix is like an old friend that I haven’t talked to in a year, but when we get on the phone, it’s like we never stopped talking. Netflix gets me. This show hits all the right spots–awkward romance, Paris, champagne, wine, food, and everything I don’t have in life right now. Ok straight friends, don’t fall apart. There is also a lot of kung fu and action scenes. Alright, maybe not. But… It’s so good! I can’t help it. I’ve been in isolation too long. I also never want to recommend the same thing twice, but I’m drinking red wine again. So, here is the remedy to Emily:

American Wine: Coors Light or Budweiser with a lime. It takes away from the fact you’re drinking American “lagers” that have almost no real beer flavor. Also, it brings back the testosterone that was lost from watching a purely romantic, feminine, very gay series. I apologize. I couldn’t help it. Please, stay tuned for more “manly” drinks and conversation. That’s so sexist. Please stay tuned for more “diverse” conversations.
